The involvement of parents in the school development process and the importance of parental work in schools are neglected topics in the discourse of School Pedagogy. The aim of this article is to address this topic with a qualitative interview-survey of parents/ legal guardian at the Dresden University School. The central topic of the interviews is the communication between parents and teachers and, above all, the feedback on the learning and development situation of students.
